Mazel tov to Wendy Tanson who was a featured contributor to the newly published book Sell Your Home Fast in a Buyer's Market. Award winning author Norma Lehmeier Hartie details the nine steps for a quick and successful sale and includes over 100 tips to give sellers a competitive advantage in today's challenging market. Wendy was interviewed at length by Hartie and contributed to several chapters regarding home staging, green options, and market trends.

Weekly Jewish Meditation Group. Every Sunday, 10:15 – 11:30 a.m. A participant led meditation group that brings together mindfulness and Jewish contemplative practice. Open to those at all levels of practice from beginners to those with experience. Meets at Beth El Synagogue, 1004 Watts St, Durham, NC 27701. J Street Durham-Chapel will officially launch on Thurs., Feb. 4, 7p.m. at the Chapel Hill Kehillah. This event is part of J Street’s new efforts to both broaden and deepen the presence of the pro-Israel, pro-peace movement in communities across the country.  RSVP or info.

BRIDGES, the special needs initiative of the Durham-Chapel Hill Jewish Federation JCC, will have a Passover program for people with special needs and their families and friends. March 21 at Beth El Synagogue. The program will include songs, seder games and stories, and more
